The quilt was designed and sewn by the ladies of Prunedale Grange to recognize and thank Ernie for his 20+ years of military service. After reserve duty, he joined the regular Navy in 1958 and retired in 1977 as a Chief Petty Officer, E-7His service to our country included sailing on troop transports, submarines, and a destroyer; along with a tour in Vietnam, training brown-water fast-boat commanders how to drive, navigate, and survive river patrols.Members of the California State, county and local granges appreciate Ernie and his family’s sacrifice for the citizens of the United States.
Grampa Car Club
Grampa Car Club every 4th Wednesday of the month – once a month except December from 5-9pm. Outdoors in our large parking lot.
SNIP – Spay and Neuter Saves Lives
The SnipBus organization has a 5-day block reserved to use the Youth Center each month for neutering North County cats. The 5-day block always contains the 1st Wednesday of the month occurs. Trapping and housing of feral cats occurs two days before neutering and 1 day of recovery after surgery.

SHERIFF
Daily County Sheriff Usage The presence of Sheriff patrol cars in North County is helped by allowing deputies to use our parking lot for coordination meetings, writing patrol notes, or eating their lunch.
4-H
North County 4-H meets on two Mondays each month during the 3rd, 4th, and/or 5th weeks.
SCHOOL BUS Pickup and Drop-Off
School Bus pickup/drop off – Daily during the school year. During the school year, the Monte Vista Christian school bus picks up and drops off students in our parking lot.
SIT & SEW
Sit & Sew Twice a Month – 2nd and 4th Wednesday Come have fun, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from noon to 4 p.m..
MEMBER’S MEETINGS
Grange Meeting every 2nd Thursday each month. The Grange is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in more than 2,100 hometowns across America. We have nearly 150 years of history, a spirit of grassroots advocacy, and a fraternal spirit that we’re happy to share with you. 2nd Thursday of every month in the Large Hall. Winter hours Oct – March meet @ 12:30 p.m. Summer hours 6:30 p.m. April – September

Just show up at our main hall (17890 Moro Rd., Salinas, CA 93907) at noon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday.
In June, that will be the 14th & the 28th (see the calendar of events below, in the footer of this page, for other months).
Bring your sewing machine and an extension cord.
An extension cord with a power strip is best.
Ask for Trish, Linda, or Catherine.
They are Grange members and will welcome you into the group.
They’ll also help you get set up on a table.
