Parking Lot – Part of a day, all day and more than one day- can I rent?
You can rent for short periods or all day for 1 day or multiple days. Short events typically occur within one of the below periods; long events use 2 or 3 periods. Morning – 7 a.m. to noon …………. 5 hours
Afternoon – noon to 6 p.m. …….. 5 hours
Evening – 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. ………. 6 hours … Hall doors close by 11 p.m
Parking Lot – Description
- Excellent space and layout for a flea market, farmers market, car show, cook-off, or safe holiday celebration for families/children.
- Close to Hwy-101 with easy entry and exit for food vans, bus-sized RVs, and pickups with trailers.
- 90 total parking spaces in the L-shaped parking lot beside the Large Hall.
- 30,625 sq/ft booth area right of the hall that easily holds 30 booths each 20′ wide x 10′ deep.
- Typical customer parking: 36 cars park in front of the Hall and 22 park at the Youth Center.
- 220v & 110v hook-up point at the side of the hall for the organizer’s RV or Food Wagon, etc.
- Rent the hall restrooms to avoid hauling in portable toilets.
- Rent the hall to make money selling meals or served for take-out.
- Automatic nighttime security lighting.
Parking Lot – Restrictions:
- No illicit drug use anywhere on Grange property.
- Wine and champagne are allowed but no hard alcohol.
- Beer may be served only if you get a liquor liability certificate from your insurance company.
- No fireworks.
- No vehicle drifting in the parking lot.
- No music past 10 p.m. (local sound ordinance).
- Evening events end at 10 p.m. (Clean up 10 to 11 p.m.).
- Provide proof of insurance for possible event damages and liability. It is easy to get affordable event insurance. To protect your family, youth organization, and the Grange just contact your non-profit insurance firm or your home insurance company and purchase a one- or two-day coverage plan for the dates of your event.

Submitting this form to our Rental and Reservation Secretary begins the Lock-In Process of your Event Date.
You will receive an email with your submitted information in your inbox. Please check your spam/trash if you do not see your receipt in your inbox.
Parking Lot – After “Submit Request” – Then What?
- Once the R&R Secretary receives your Request she will determine your total event costs, security fee for damages, and reservation fee and notify you via email with an offer within 2 business days or less.
- Respond to the secretary’s email letting her know whether you accept or reject the cost quote.
- If you accept, then the rental secretary will snail mail you the rental contract.
- After you receive the contract, sign it, attach your check for the refundable reservation fee, and physically deliver or mail the papers back to the grange at 17890 Moro Rd, Salinas CA 93907.
- Soon thereafter, you will receive the reservation confirmation email from the Grange Secretary.
Parking Lot – Refunds
Your reservation fee will be refunded to you, if you notify the R&R Secretary three weeks or more before the scheduled event, that you will not be renting.
