Each month the SnipBus organization has a 5-day block reserved to use the Youth Center for neutering North County cats. The 5-day block always contains the 1st Wednesday of the month occurs. Trapping and housing of feral cats occurs two days before neutering and 1 day of recovery after surgery.

Food Bank 9-10a.m.
On the first Monday of each month, the Monterey County Food Bank hands out food to North County locals in need of food assistance. However, if that Monday is a federal holiday the service will slip to the 2nd Monday of the month.
Food issue runs from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. However, cars often begin lining up at 8 a.m. and the handouts can run past 10 a.m. to 10:30
